Forecasting Development
With a background of almost 5 years managing the Demand Planning function for a large, branded food manufacturer and providing customer facing Supply Chain support for the sales team, HMS was contracted to source and project manage the implementation of a software package to generate customer/item level demand over a rolling 104 week horizon delivering agreed business forecast accuracy targets.
As part of the implementation project a forecast review system and process was established to identify annual trend and year on year change to ensure accuracy targets were met and to promote the benefits of a collaborative forecasting process.
